Our Featured Staff Member: Kaylah Martinez

WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A MOMENT TO RECOGNIZE KAYLAH MARTINEZ OF OUR TULARE CLUB! WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE HAD KAYLAH ON OUR TEAM FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS.

Kaylah is a perfect match for BGCS; she always makes time in her work day to make conversation with Club members and ensure that they are well. She is a source of stability for our members, assuring them that she is there for them no matter the situation.

Kaylah chooses to work for the Boys & Girls Club because she is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others. Kaylah said, "Knowing that I have impacted someone's life for the better makes me happy. I love working with kids and I try to create a Club experience that I would like for my own kids. I would want my kids to have a place where they feel safe with people who genuinely want to be there with them."

Kaylah has done a fantastic job adapting to the changes we've made due to COVID-19. Kaylah explains, "COVID-19 has affected me a lot personally. I miss our members very much and I wish that we could all be together right now. Therefore, I have prioritized reaching out to members and letting them know that we are still here for them even though we are not with them in-person anymore."
