Soccer League at Our Clubs

SOCCER KICKS OFF OUR SPORTS LEAGUE!

Our Visalia, Tulare, Farmersville, Ivanhoe, Exeter & Strathmore Clubs have been improving their skills by practicing and meeting up for games every Tuesday in Farmersville.

This year we have put a focus on encouraging positive sportsmanship and team spirits by incorporating a new points system. Points can be earned during practices, in Club homework assignments the day before games, and of course, scoring goals. Just as quick as you can earn a point it can be taken away by negative sportsmanship, language, and physical behavior. Our overall goal has been to create opportunities for our youth and to build confidence. 

Farmersville Club Director, Christian Cervantes, explains that, "We want to encourage character, good sportsmanship, and having fun. Win or lose we want the members to learn about the sport and get a chance to play on a team. We encourage positive feedback and try to teach the members how to be a positive teammate."
