Our Featured Staff Member: Elva Solano

AS SITE DIRECTOR OF IVANHOE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB,

Elva and her club will be celebrating the grand opening of Bob Felts Sr. Field this month, which is located on the Ivanhoe site. However, the construction of this community field has not been an overnight process. Elva explains that the vision of a soccer field dates back to when she, born and raised in Ivanhoe, was a member of the Ivanhoe Youth Center. It is not until now—that Elva serves as the director of the Club–that the vision has become a reality.

From canvassing for the approval of the field, to reminding her club kids to show their thankfulness for those who made the vision a reality—Elva truly understands what it means to be a part of our Clubs. Thank you, Elva!
