Our Featured Board Member: Paula Black

WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A MOMENT TO RECOGNIZE PAULA BLACK, THE SECOND VICE PRESIDENT OF OUR BOARD! WE ARE GRATEFUL TO HAVE HAD HER ON OUR TEAM SINCE 2018.

Paula resides in Visalia where she is a partner of the law firm Rauber Johnson & Black. Paula is constantly involved with the Boys & Girls Club—supporting our fundraiser events and campaigns all year round.

She is passionate about empowering youth and supporting our community. This is why she has dedicated herself to educating and encouraging other individuals and local businesses to invest in the futures of our local youth.

Paula said, "Research shows it only takes one caring adult to change the course of a young person’s life! BGCS provides our children a structured setting and sense of community during after school and non-school periods. In doing so, this also supports the families of our community. Our kids have a safe place to learn and express themselves, not only from an educational perspective, but also social, physical and artistic perspective."
